Praise the Lord, my Sisters in Christ,
We thank God for how He has blessed and kept us over this last year. Our hearts are filled with great expectation as we prepare for Ebenezer A.M.E. Church’s 24th Annual Women’s Season Retreat. This year’s theme speaks to God’s divine promises for us as His daughters. Truly, we are Kingdom Women with Holy Ghost Power: Reaping the Harvest God Promised Us. Our foundational scriptures—Psalm 126, 2 Corinthians 9:6, Galatians 6:7-9—illustrate that as we plant seeds unto the Spirit, we shall reap all that God has promised us.
We can feel that this shall be a blessed year for the body of Christ. God has promised that 2008 will be great and we believe that this is also the case for this year’s Women’s Retreat!
My sisters, when we come together on July 31-August 2, God has promised to meet us at the Marriott Wardman Park Hotel in Washington, D.C. one more time. Our prayer is that you will purpose in your hearts and determine in your minds to join us along with hundreds of other sisters from around the world to obtain the tools, direction and power needed to realize God’s harvest for our lives. As a Kingdom Woman with Holy Ghost Power, it is God’s desire that we Reap the Harvest He has Promised Us!
As always, we thank you for your ongoing love, constant prayers and faithful commitment as we journey together in Kingdom building. I look forward to seeing you July 31-August 2.
