MEN’S SEASON: It’s Men’s Season 2018! MS2K18 Revival is Thurs., Oct. 18th at 7 p.m. with Rev. William Lamar, Pastor of Metropolitan AME in DC. All are welcome. You don’t want to miss this time of restoration and empowerment. Then, Thurs., Oct. 25th at 7 p.m., brothers, make plans to join us for “About that Life” Transforming Testimony service. Brothers, we can make a difference!
The next Men’s Season 2018 Planning Committee meeting is Tues., Oct. 16th at 7 p.m. All brothers are welcome to come out and join as we plan a blessed 2018 Men’s Season & Conference!
SOCIAL CONSCIOUS MINISTRY: Register to vote in the Narthex at the Voter Registration tables. The deadline to register is this Tues., Oct 16th for the November 6 election. You may also check your voting location and status at the tables. Many voters have been purged from the voting rolls and we don’t want you to be one of them.

NEW MEMBERS’ CLASS: The next New Members’ class will be held Sat. Oct. 20th and will focus on church history.
BAPTISM: The next Baptism instruction class will be Mon., Oct. 15th at 7 p.m. for pouring and sprinkling.
COLLEGE FAMILY (CFAM): CFAM is excited to launch the College Alumni Database. Right after service, we’re asking all college alumni to see a College Family Ministry Team Member to be added to the database. Don’t miss the chance to rep your college or university! If you want to learn more about the many simple ways you can help impact the lives of college students from around the world, come out tomorrow Mon., Oct. 15th at 7 p.m.
EBENEZER INSTITUTE: The Ebenezer Institute will host an open house for new membership Sat., Oct. 20th at 1 p.m. The ministry is seeking new members as we grow and plan for the Ebenezer Institute Spring 2019 sessions.
YOUTH LITURGICAL DANCE MINISTRY: IT’S Youth Liturgical Dance Open Season through OCT. 31st! All youth (ages 5-16) are cordially invited to register during rehearsal on Saturday’s from 9a.m.-10a.m. Contact 301-265-9029 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
FALL/WINTER CLOTHING & TOILETRY COLLECTION DRIVE: We are collecting new or slightly used – not torn—winter coats, jackets, hats, gloves, sweaters, sweatpants, sweatshirts, thermal underwear, boots/sneakers, socks, and toiletries. Drop the items off in the box marked MHVM (located near the Security Desk).
JEWELS MINISTRY: The Jewels are on the move! Thurs., Oct. 25th they will experience a 3-1/2 hour narrated driving tour of Historic African America in Philadelphia, PA. Stops include St. George U.M. Church, Mother Bethel AME, Philadelphia Art Museum, and more. Stop by the Jewels table after service or contact email@example.com.
BREAST CANCER AWARENESS: What can you do to lower your risk of breast cancer? There are four steps you can take: 1) don’t smoke, 2) control your weight, 3) be physically active and 4) avoid exposure to radiation and environmental pollution. Also, Sun., Oct. 28th is Pray in Pink…wear anything pink to church and don’t forget to pick up your breast cancer ribbon in the Narthex.
