HOLIDAY CLOSINGS: In observance of Thanksgiving, the church will be closed Thurs.-Nov. 23rd – Sat., Nov. 25th. The 24-hour answering service will be available for emergencies.

NEW MEMBERS’ CLASS: The next new members’ class is Sat., Dec. 2nd at 10 a.m. and will focus on faith and salvation.

SEASON OF GIVING: It’s the season of giving and our community needs YOU! Help provide holiday food baskets for our neighbors, Christmas gifts for children, clothing for the homeless, and additional support for those in need this holiday season. Your giving to support this outreach is critical, but simple—go to Ebenezerame.org and click “online giving” to access Season of Giving or write Season of Giving on your envelope to make special donation. Let’s continue to be the family church serving the family of God.

ANGEL TREE PROGRAM: It’s that time of year when you can be a blessing to children of incarcerated parents by participating in our Annual Angel Tree Project. Stop by the table in the Narthex and Admin area to pick your angel with your toy to purchase!

CHRISTIAN BUSINESS MINISTRY (CBM): Join the Christian Business Ministry for their 2018 Planning Meeting Mon., Nov. 20th at 7 p.m. This meeting is open to all current business owners and future entrepreneurs. I twill inform the ministry’s 2018 activities to help entrepreneurs sustain and grow their business within God’s vision.

EBENEZER BASKETBALL: Ebenezer’s Basketball Ministry is recruiting new boy and girl basketball players—ages 5-7, 8-10, 11-13, 14-16. Coaches and Administrators are also needed this season. The program begins Sat., Dec. 2nd. Come out for fun and exercise while learning the basics skills to play the game. Sign up in Narthex or call the church.

GO GET OUR DAUGHTERS: Young women, ages 10-18, come out for the Go Get Our Daughters Ministry’s “Giving Back” activity Sat., Dec. 9th. Ebenezer was instrumental in the success of last year’s doll drive for needy children living in Prince George’s County. Once again, the PG County Department of Social Services has requested our assistance in supplying African-American dolls. Dolls can be dropped off in the Admin. Area and the WRRC by December 8th.

REACH OUT TO MILITARY MINISTRY (ROTM): Join the 2017 Reach Out to Military Ministry’s Christmas Gala Fri., Dec. 15th at 7 p.m. at the Colony South Hotel in Clinton, MD. This event will honor our Veterans and active duty service members. Cost is $35. Email militaryministry@ebenezerame.org.

ARENA STAGE: It’s an evening of Nina Simone: “Four Women” by Christina Ham Directed by Timothy Douglas. Join us for the Ebenezer AME Church night at Arena Stage Sat., Dec. 16th at 2 p.m. Tickets are $60 each. Purchase through the church office.
