MEN’S SEASON: Men’s Season 2018 continues! Brothers, the Men’s “Transformers” Conference is THIS Thurs., Nov 8-Sat., Nov. 10. Registration is ONLY $50 for the ENTIRE weekend. Facilitators and preachers include Bishop Glenn Staples, Rev. Dr. Henry Davis., Rev. Mike Wingard, Bro. J. Wendell Gordon, Bro. Derrick Fenner and many others. Register online at ebenezerame.org.

The next Men’s Season 2018 Planning Committee meeting is Tues., Nov. 6th at 7 p.m. All brothers are welcome to join as we lead into the Men’s Season & Conference!

Last but not least, our 2018 Men’s Day is Sunday, Nov. 11th. Guest preachers will be Bishop Lyle Dukes, Harvest Life Church in Woodbridge, VA and Rev. Ellis Washington, St. Paul AME in Cambridge, MA.

LEADERSHIP MEETING: The next Leadership meeting is Mon., Nov. 5th at 7 p.m. All ministry leaders are asked to attend.

NEW MEMBERS:  The New Members’ class will not be held this Sat., Nov. 10th.  It will resume Sat., Nov. 17th at 10a.m. and will focus on Church History,

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY: Young adults, it’s a new month and we’re doing something new! We’re continuing to explore God’s vision for planning and building our dreams during a Facebook live meet-up Bible Study. Join us on the Ebenezer AME Young Adult Ministry Facebook page this Thurs., Nov. 8 at 7:30 pm for an interactive and life-changing discussion. We will not have Bible Study on the 4th Thurs. of Nov. due to Thanksgiving and will meet again Thurs., Nov. 29 at the Main Church. Spread the Word and join us!

COMBINED USHER BOARD: Join the Combined Usher Board for the 35th Anniversary & Christmas Fellowship Celebration Sat, Dec. 8, from 1 PM-5 PM at the Camelot in Upper Marlboro, MD. Cost is only $65 per person over 12 & $32.50 for children under 12. Tickets are being sold by the Fellowship Committee Ushers.

MOBILE HOMELESS VAN MINISTRY: The Mobile Homeless Van Ministry is collecting new or slightly used – not torn – winter coats, jackets, hats, gloves, sweaters, sweatpants, sweatshirts, thermal underwear, boots/sneakers, socks, and toiletries. Drop off items in the designated box (located near the Security Desk).

MISSIONARY SOCIETY: The Missionary Society is asking members and friends to join them as they work together to end hunger and reduce poverty in the U.S. and around the world. Write letters to your members of Congress asking them to invest in critical anti-hunger and anti-poverty programs. Pick up form letters in the Narthex after service or go to bread.org/write-congress to send letters online.
