CHRISTMAS CELEBRATION: The Christmas season is here. We’ll host our 2018 Christmas Celebration  Sun. Dec. 16th during our 7:45 a.m. and 10:45 a.m. worship services. Celebrate our birth of our Savior with the Ebenezer AME Music and Fine Arts Department as we experience the joy of the Christmas season.

SEASON OF GIVING: It’s the season of giving and the community needs YOU! Help us provide food for our neighbors, Christmas gifts for children and clothing for the homeless, during this holiday season. Your support is critical, but it’s simple to participate—use your giving envelopes, or go to Ebenezerame.org and click on “online giving” or use Givelify and note season of giving! Let’s continue to be the family church serving the family of God.

ANGEL TREE: It’s that time of year when you can be a blessing to children of incarcerated parents by participating in our Annual Angel Tree Project. Please stop by the table in the Narthex or Admin. Area to select your angel with the toy to purchase.

SUNDAY SCHOOL: Please come out and celebrate with our Sunday School as they present “Christmas is Cancelled” tonight at 5 p.m. at the Original Sanctuary. Enjoy special performances from our Youth Liturgical Dancers and Sunday School students.

KL4C MINISTRY: Parents and Guardians of elementary age students, bring your Kids Living 4 Christ to Children’s Bible Study this Fri., Dec. 14th at 7 p.m.

ATTENTION ALL YOUTH, make plans to join EYL4C on Fri., Dec. 28th from 11p.m. to 7a.m. for a night of fun at Flight Zone Trampoline Park in Springfield, VA.   The cost is $25.  Transportation will be available for $10 per person.  Stop by the youth ministry booth in the narthex to register.

GO GET OUR DAUGHTERS: Join the Go Get Our Daughters Ministry (for young women ages 10 -18) on Sat., Dec. 15th for their “Giving Back” activity. They will work with the Capital Area Food Bank to prepare care bags for recent hurricane victims and for the local community. Also, African-American doll donations are needed to support the PG County Department of Social Services Doll Collection. Doll donations can be dropped off in the Admin. area and/or WRRC. Register your young ladies, purchase a doll or make a financial contribution to this effort. Stop by their table after service today.

NEW MEMBERS: The New Members’ class held Sat., Dec. 15th at 10 a.m. and will focus on Church History.

YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY: Young Adults, don’t meet us, beat us to Young Adult Bible Study this Thurs., Dec. 13th at 7:30 p.m.  Don’t miss this time of the Word and Fellowship with other young adults!

MANHOOD RITES OF PASSAGE (M.R.O.P.): Enrollment for the 2019 MROP season is now open to young men (ages 12-17) by contacting the church Admin. Office. There will be an informational meeting Tues., Dec. 11th at 7:30 p.m. Parents interested in enrolling a young man, and brothers who are interested in this mentoring opportunity, are encouraged to attend this informational meeting. Be a part of this life changing experience by signing up today.

BASKETBALL MINISTRY: Basketball practice has begun, all interested boys and girls in age groups 5-15 are asked to sign up after service today at the Basketball Ministry table.

JEWELS MINISTRY: Come celebrate Christmas with the Jewels Thurs., Dec. 20th at The Camelot by Martin’s from 11:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Cost is $45 per person. Stop by the Jewels table after service today or email jewels@ebenezerame.org.
