LENTEN SEASON FRIDAY SERVICES: Lenten Services with a preached Word from Ebenezer’s ministerial staff will be held each Friday at 6 a.m. on the 3rd floor of the Main Church. Min. Ralph Miller is the preacher for this Fri., Feb. 19th.

NEW MEMBERS CLASS: The next New Members’ class will be held Sat., Feb. 20th and will focus on Church History.

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY: The Young Adult Ministry is headed to a showing of the movie “Race” depicting the life of Jesse Owens Sat., Feb. 20th at 10 AM at the AMC Hoffman in Alexandria, VA. Tickets are $5 and can be purchased at the Young Adult Booth.

POETRY MINISTRY: The Poetry Ministry’s Black History Month Celebration is Fri., Feb.19th at 6 p.m. at the Original Sanctuary. Featured poet will be Bro. Ty Gray-El. Joined by Ebenezer Men’s Choir Praise Team and youth orator, Nehemiah Sellers.

PRE-MARITAL INSTITUTE: Considering marriage, engaged or already planning your wedding? Join the Bone of My Bone Pre-Marital Seminar taught by Pastor Jo Ann Browning Thurs., Feb. 25th at 7pm. All engaged and dating couples thinking about getting married are welcome. Also, couples planning weddings in 2016 are encouraged to invest in their relationship with pre-marital counseling. The Bone of My Bones Pre-marital Institute is held on Saturdays for 8 weeks from 9 am-11 am. The first class is Sat., March 5th. Cost is $75. Register in the Admin. Office.

B.A.L.M. MINISTRY: Married, Engaged and Dating Couples join the BALM Ministry for the Hippest Trip in America…a night out on the town in your “Denim & Diamonds,” Fri., Feb., 26th from 7p.m.-11p.m. Put on your favorite jeans and diamonds accessory and meet at The Legends Club at the Regency Baseball Stadium in Waldorf. Only $75 a couple for a hearty buffet, dancing and fun with your boo. Get your ticket in the Narthex.

COMFORT MINISTRY: The 2016 Comfort Department and Youth Comfort Grief Initiative Summit is Sat., Feb. 27th at 8 a.m. The summit includes continental breakfast & lunch, worship services, workshops and more. Youth activities include meals, interactive sessions and arts/crafts workshops. Donation is $25 for adults and $5 for youth (per family). Info is available in the Narthex, and Admin. HEALTH MINISTRY: Ebenezer’s Health Ministry, The Maryland Centre at Bowie State University, and Prince George’s County Department of Health will host onsite testing at Ebenezer next Sun., Feb. 21st from 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Stop the spread of HIV in our communities and get tested!

LAY ORGANIZATION: The Lay Organization is conducting its Annual Membership Recruitment. Learn more about the AME Church’s history, traditions and principles. The U.S. Postal service has issued a new Richard Allen Stamp commemorating the visionary of the AME Church founded 200 years ago! A U.S. Postal rep. is here today, so you can purchase your stamps.
