MORNING MIRACLE SERVICES: Continue to come out at 6 a.m., Monday through Wednesday until Easter for Miraculous Mondays, Triumphant Tuesdays and Wondrous Wednesdays with Pastor Grainger Browning.
2018 LENTEN SEASON SERVICES: There will be Lenten Services every Friday morning at 6 a.m. on the third floor with our ministerial staff. Rev. Kevin Taylor will be the preacher Fri., March 23rd.
GOOD FRIDAY 7LW SERVICE: Church family, make plains to join us Friday, March 30th at 7:30 p.m. for our Good Friday 7 Last Words Service. Seven ministers are coming together to proclaim the seven last sayings of Christ.
35th PASTORAL ANNIVERSARY: We continue to celebrate our Pastors 35th pastoral anniversary at Ebenezer! On April 8th, Pastor Smokie Norful will preach both services and on Sunday, April 22nd, Bishop Harry Seawright will be our guest preacher. Mark the dates as we celebrate all year long! We thank God for His grace to thrive at 35!
CHRISTIAN BUSINESS MINISTRY: Now announcing the kickoff of their monthly “Business Capacity Building Workshops”. The first workshop is Sat., March 24th at 10:30a.m. at the WRRC. The workshop is entitled Position Your Company for Six Figure Contract Opportunities with Prince George’s County Government! The presenter is Eben Smith, President of Three E Consulting and former Senior Buyer in Contract Administration, Procurement, and Contract Compliance Officer in Prince George’s County Government. He will be discussing how to position your company for new opportunities.
NEW MEMBERS CLASS: New Members’ class will be held Sat., March 24th at 10 a.m. and will focus on Stewardship.
EDUCATION MINISTRY: It’s almost scholarship time and funding is available. Academic scholarships for students pursuing a post-secondary degree have been posted on Ebenezer’s website. All applications are due March 29, 2018. Please apply as soon as possible.
SCHOLARSHIPS: The Fort Washington (MD) Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is offering opportunities for scholarships to young men wishing to further their education. For male High School Seniors applications can be picked up from Crossland, Friendly, Oxon Hill, Potomac, and Surrattsville High Schools. Application are due March 23rd.
YOUNG ADULTS MINISTRY: Young Adults, don’t meet us, but beat us to Young Adult Bible Study on Thurs., March 22nd at 7:30 p.m. Don’t miss this time of the Word and fellowship with other young adults!
TEENS LIVING 4 CHRIST (TL4C): Middle and High School students join TL4C us this Fri. March 23rd at 7p.m. for Teenage Bible Study.
EBENEZER INSTITUTE: The Ebenezer Institute’s mission is to provide a place and space for members and community to continuously learn, develop and grow. The more you learn, the more you know. Registration is a one-time fee of $50 for all four sessions (April 7th, 14th, 21st, and 28th). Registration for April classes begins today in the Narthex.
AFRICAN/AFRICAN AMERICAN LIBERATION MINISTRY (A/AALM): GET INVOLVED! Join the African/African American Liberation Ministry in planning the upcoming A/AALM Heritage Weekend. The ministry places emphasis on information sharing, fellowship, and relationship building from an African/African-American perspective. Face-to-face and virtual meetings are held the second Thursday of each month. For more information email AAALM@ebenezer.org, or call the church.
ROYAL RUNNERS TRACK TEAM MINISTRY: The Royal Runners track team season runs from March 19th - July 30th. Practice is held at Friendly H.S. Mon., Tues. and Thurs. at 6 p.m. Runners should wear comfortable and appropriate attire, bring water and/or Gatorade to stay hydrated for all practices.
SOCIAL CONSCIOUS MINISTRY: Join the Men’s Ministry, Lay Organization, and other community organizations on Thurs., April 5th at 7 p.m. for a candidate’s forum for state candidates from District 26. This will be a time to ask important questions.
