NEW MEMBERS CLASS: New member’s class will not be held Sat., April 30th it will resume on May 7 and focus on Faith and Salvation.

BAPTISM: The next baptism instruction class for Pouring and Sprinkling candidates will be held Mon., May 9th at 7 p.m.

B.A.L.M. Ministry: All married, engaged, and dating couples of all ages, join the BALM Ministry as they participate in the Couple’s Walk across the Woodrow Wilson Bridge Sat., April 30th at 7 a.m. Encourage your boo, your king or queen, to come out and join in. Holding hands is permitted before, during and after the walk. An occasional stop to catch your breath or administer a sweet kiss is also permitted. Get your gear, grab a water bottle and towel and meet them at Jones Point Park to walk the bridge! See a BALM Coordinator in the Narthex for directions.

MEN’S “TNT” MINISTRY: Brothers, come out Thurs., May 5th at 7 p.m. for an empowering panel discussion on “Resurrecting, Reviving and Restoring Your Dreams, Hope and Aspirations.” The dynamic panel will include some of the area’s top professionals and entrepreneurs who will provide insights on life-changing principles and resources to assist you in realizing your dreams.

SCHOLARSHIPS: Attention Ebenezer’s 2016 high school graduates and returning college students. It’s Scholarship Season and there are several scholarships available through the ministries at Ebenezer! The Bishop Benjamin T. Tanner, the Richard Allen scholarship, the Bishop Benjamin T. Tanner Returning College Student scholarship, the Isaac Gourdine scholarship, the Jewels Ministry scholarship, The King’s Men Harry Lee Jackson Jr. Memorial Scholarship, and The Comfort Department’s 2016 Spouses in Transition Scholarship are all accepting applications. Details and deadlines for all of these scholarships are available online at ebenezerame.org or at the church office.

EBENEZER YOUTH LIVING 4 CHRIST: The Elementary ENCOUNTER for elementary age students is this Fri., April 29th at 7 p.m. The new service will feature Elem. School Choirs and our very own Children’s Choir, Jr STOMP, Praise Angel Dancers and more.

Middle and High School students, make plans today to attend BROKEN 2016, Fri., June 17th Sun., June 19th at the North Bay Retreat Center. Cost is $150 and you can pay $50 monthly until June.

BASKETBALL MINISTRY: This Christian Youth Basketball Ministry currently has open registration TODAY after each worship service for age groups 7-9, 10-12, 13-15, and 16-18 (teams are co-ed). Coaches and Admin volunteers are also needed.

LAY ORGANIZATION: The Lay Organization presents “Project Family Heritage: Generation to Generation, an empowerment session on the roles of generations in the church and in our community. Project Family Heritage aims to connect the Silent Generation (born 1925-1945) to Generation Alpha (born 2010 and after). Join them Tues., April 26th at 7 pm. The seminar is FREE and all are welcome.

Thank you to the entire Ebenezer family for your kindness in support of the eyeglasses to Rwanda and The Republic of Congo. Your contribution of 125 pairs of eyeglasses and $125 to ship and deliver them will help those in need.

COMBINED USHER BOARD: The Usher Board is actively recruiting new members. Youth Ushers must be at least 10 years old. If you are interested in serving as a Doorkeeper, info can be obtained in the Narthex.

WOMEN’S SEASON: What a wonder this season has been! Next up is the Women’s Season Activity this Fri., April 29th at 7 PM. It will be a night of fun and fellowship, including a live DJ, game room, massage and therapy area, nail station, light food, and much more!
