PREACHING ENGAGEMENT: Our own Pastor Jo Ann Browning will be preaching the 2014 Women’s Day Kick-off Celebration Service TODAY at 10:30 a.m. at the Westphalia United Methodist Church, 9363 D’Arcy Road, Upper Marlboro, MD  20744.  Rev.  Dr. Timothy West, Senior Pastor.

NEW MEMBERS’ CLASS:  The New Members’ class will not be held this Sat., May 3. Classes will resume Sat., May 10.

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY: Young Adults come out Thursday for THE EXPERIENCE as they explore the topic – “Wrestling with your Mouth”! If you fix your mouth, you may fix your life! 7:30 p.m. at the Original Sanctuary!

JEWELS MINISTRY:  The Jewels will be returning north to Cape Cod & Martha’s Vineyard June 16-20. Splash with the Jewels at the Sea Watch Resort in Myrtle Beach, SC Sept. 15-19. Lastly, join the Jewels on a 10-night cruise to Mexico, Cayman Islands and more stops on the Royal Caribbean “Grandeur of the Seas” Nov 29-Dec 9, 2014. SCHOLARSHIP MINISTRY: Ebenezer’s 2014 high school graduates and returning college students, the Bishop Benjamin T. Tanner, Isaac Gourdine, Jewels Ministry and Bishop Richard Allen Scholarship applications are available in the Admin. CONGRATULATIONS! MIN. TYE: The Ebenezer Church family wishes God’s richest blessings to Min. Tye Tribbett as he takes on his new assignment as Youth & Young Adult Pastor at New Light Christian Center, Houston, TX.  Your Ebenezer family loves you and will be praying for you.

COMFORT DEPARTMENT: Applications are available for the Spouses in Transition Ministry Scholarship for the fall of 2014.  This scholarship is for a student who is the child of a deceased parent. Applications are available in the Admin Office and online at Ebenezerame.org.  Applications must be submitted by May 5.

SAVE THE DATE: The Ebenezer Lay Organization will present its Lay Day Observance program on June 22, at 5 p.m. in the Main Sanctuary.  Bro. Melvin and Sis. Queen Clay will be honored for their dedicated service to Ebenezer and as part of the original 17 who took the faith walk from Ebenezer Georgetown to Fort Washington.
