NEW MEMBERS’ CLASS: The next New Members’ class is Sat., May 9, from 10 a.m.-12 noon and will focus on Christianity and Discipleship.
B.A.L.M. (BLESSINGS AND LOVED MARRIED MINISTRY): The B.A.L.M. (Blessings and Love Married Couples) Ministry will host Coffee and Conversation Part II focusing on Estate Planning, Sat., May 16 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Get advice for securing your family’s future. EBENEZER ORCHESTRA: The Ebenezer Symphony Orchestra is expanding and needs more members! Become a member of the Ebenezer Orchestra today! If you’d like to be a part of a progressive instrumental ministry, the ESO is for you. For audition info, email ESOrchestra@ebenezerame.org or call the Admin Office. Rehearsals are Saturdays from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
YOUTH MINISTRY: All Middle and High School students, make plans to attend the BROKEN 2015 Youth Retreat, Fri. June 19-Sun. June 21 at the North Bay Retreat Center. Cost is $150 and you can register today!
SCHOLARSHIPS: There is still time to apply for several scholarships available through the ministries at Ebenezer! The Comfort Department’s 2015 Spouses in Transition Scholarship is available for H.S. graduates and returning college and technical students—no older than 23 years old. The student must be the child of a deceased parent(s). Deadline is May 5. Applications are also available for the Shining Stars Before & After Program Scholarship. Lastly, three Connectional Lay Organization Scholarships are available for H.S. graduates entering college AND for students pursuing course of study to obtain a Bachelor’s Degree, Master of Divinity or Doctor of Ministry. Deadline is May 15. All scholarship applications are available at ebenezerame.org or at the church office.
WOMEN’S SEASON: Women’s Season 2015 continues! Tomorrow and Tuesday all roads lead to Ebenezer for Revival Part II with powerhouse preacher, Rev. Dr. Jasmin Sculark. Be here tomorrow Monday, May 4 and Tuesday, May 5 at 7 pm to experience God’s wonder.
Mother’s Day is quickly approaching. The Mother/Daughter Tea this Sat., May 9 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. is sold out! Our guest speakers are 16-year old Breanna “Bree” Britt, owner of Bree’s Sweet Treats Bakery in Accokeek, MD and her mother Charmaine Britt. 16-year old Bree has been featured in the Washington Post, Washington Business Journal and soon to be on the Today Show.
Young Adult Women, make plans to be in the place for the Faith, Family, Finance & Feelings Fellowship Thurs., May 14 from 6:30-9:30. There will be—3 P’s—Panel, Painting, & Pampering, including dinner, glass painting, manicures, chair massages and panel discussion. Panelists include Rev.
