NEW MEMBERS CLASS: New Members class will be held Sat., June 18th and will focus on Church History.

PREACHING ENGAGEMENT: Tomorrow at 7 p.m. Pastor Rev. Dr. Grainger Browning Jr. will preach for the Men’s Revival at Hunter Memorial A.M.E. in Suitland, MD where Pastor Harold Hayes Jr. is pastor. Next on Tues., June 14th at 7 p.m., Pastor Grainger will be preaching at the 30th Anniversary for Rev. Dr. H. Seawright at Union Bethel A.M.E. in Brandywine, MD. Directions are in the Narthex and Security Desk.

CALL TO MINISTRY INSTITUTE:  The Call to Ministry Institute will be held Tues., June 28th at 7p.m. on the 3rd floor of the Main Church.  If you feel you have a calling on your life, don’t miss this meeting.

EBENEZER YOUTH LIVING FOR CHRIST: There are several upcoming youth events. There will be a briefing for the Broken 2016 retreat Tues., June 14 at 7 p.m. Project SleepOut will be held Fri., June 24 (overnight). Register in the Narthex. Sat. June 25th at 4p.m., EYL4C will host the End of School Block Party at EBI. Don’t miss it! Then Sun., June 26th is Graduation Sunday. We want to recognize ALL students graduating and being promoted to the next grade level. Last day to provide graduates names is Wed., June 15th.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL: Don’t forget Vacation Bible School for children ages 4-18 years old June 27-July 1 at the Original Sanctuary. We also need teachers and volunteers. Call 301-248-8833 or place info in the Vacation Bible School mailbox.

Sunday School: Congratulations to our 2016 Potomac District Youth Explosion essay contest winner Antonio Reddick; essay participants Ryan Butler, Drew Pettis and Daylan Paige; and art contest participants Kory Coates and Beraiah Coleman! Thanks EVERYONE who used their gifts and talents to make this year’s explosion a success!

Shining Stars Before and After School Program: The Shining Stars Before and After School Program is now accepting applications for the 2016-2017 school year serving K-Middle School students from 6 a.m-9 a.m. and 2 p.m.-6 p.m. Contact 301-248-9675 or stop by their table in the Narthex.

Poetry Ministry: Join the Poetry Ministry at their Juneteenth “Freedom STILL Ain’t Free” Celebration Fri., June 17th at 6 p.m. on the third floor for poetry, vocals, African drumming and open mic.  Featured poet will be “13 of Nazareth” (Marquise Mix). MEN’S SEASON: The Men of Ebenezer praise God and congratulate our sisters on another tremendous Woman’s Season. Truly, God is a Wonder! Brothers, Men’s Season will be here before we know it. In order to prepare for the season, we need your input. By now you should have received the 2016 Men’s Season Survey for completion. Please fill out your survey and return it to the brothers positioned at the exits on your way out of service. Brothers, we need every man to “Do Something”! You can start today by completing your survey.
