NEW MEMBERS CLASS: The next New Members Class will be held Sat., August 20th at 10 a.m. and will focus on church history.

EBENEZER YOUTH LIVING FOR CHRIST: Church Family, please join Ebenezer Youth Living for Christ (EYL4C) for several Back 2 School Activities! On Tues., Aug. 16th, spend the day at Hershey Park. Sat., Aug. 20th is the Back 2 School Prayer Breakfast and School Supply Giveaway. You can also support by donating school supplies to students in need. Registration is required for each of these events. Finally, Weds. Aug. 24th is Back 2 School Family Bible Study.

MEN’S INTERCESSORY PRAYER WARRIORS: The Men’s Intercessory Prayer Warriors invites all to attend “The Power of Prayer” workshop Sat., Aug. 20th from 8:30a.m.-1 p.m. Light morning refreshments will be served. Registration is available in the Narthex after service.

JEWELS MINISTRY: It’s time to take the AARP DRIVER SAFETY COURSE sponsored by the Jewels Tues., Aug. 23rd at 10 a.m. on the 3rd floor. The cost is $15 for AARP members and $20 for non-members. This course can trim your auto insurance by 5-10 percent. Email jewels@ebenezerame.org.

B.A.L.M. MINISTRY: All Married, Engaged and Dating Couples. Join us for WEEK 3 of our “Make It Last Forever Challenge.” Copies are available in the Narthex and you can also find the challenge online at ebenezerame.org/lovechallenge.

FAMILY AND COMMUNITY DAY AND MINISTRY FAIR: Don’t miss Ebenezer’s Family and Community Day and Ministry Fair Sat., Sept. 17th from 12 .m.-5 p.m. at Regency Furniture Stadium in Waldorf, MD. It will be a day of family, fun and fellowship, including Ebenezer’s Car and Bike show, great vendors, food, games, amusements, fitness demos and much more! The event is FREE and open to the public, but you must register. Register today in the Narthex (between services) or online via EventBrite at eventbrite.com (search Ebenezer AME Family Day). Come out and join “the family church, serving the family of God.”

LEADERSHIP MEETING:  The next church-wide leadership meeting is Thurs., Sept. 22nd at 7p.m.  All church leaders are asked to attend.

AUGUST SCHEDULE: We wish our pastors a relaxing and enjoyable vacation and look forward to their return in Sept. While pastors are away, our guest preachers will be Rev. Sheleta Fomby on today; Bishop Carolyn Showell-Sun., Aug. 21st and Rev. Dr. Jamal Bryant-Sun., Aug. 28th. You don’t want to miss our August Guest Preachers Series.
