HAPPY BIRTHDAYHappy Birthday to our  Co-Pastor Rev. Dr. Jo Ann Browning who will celebrate her birthday on Sept. 30th!  We love you and pray that God will continue to bless and grant you the desires of your heart.

PREACHING ENGAGEMENTS: On Fri., Sept. 29th at 7:30 p.m., Pastor Jo Ann Browning will preach revival at Turner Memorial AME Church in Hyattsville, MD. Continue to pray for and support our pastors.

MEN’S SEASON 2017: The 2017 Men’s Season will kick off with a Prayer & Consecration Service Sun., Oct. 1st at 5 p.m.  All brothers are encouraged to come out and be blessed by GOD as we prepare to receive all that HE has in store for us this Season.

Brothers, it’s that time for the Men’s 3 on 3 basketball tournament. Think you got game?  Come out Sat., Oct. 14th at North Point High School in Waldorf, MD.  The clinic begins at 10 a.m. and the tournaments at 1 p.m. Stop one of the MS2K17 table area after service today.

YOUNG ADULT MINISTRY: Young adults, it’s that time! Come out this Thurs., Sept. 28th at 7:30 p.m. for Young Adult Bible Study – on the third floor of the main church. Come and go with us as we continue on the road to victory! Be there and bring a friend!

COLLEGE FAMILY MINISTRY (CFAM):  The Entire Church Family is invited to join CFAM for fun as they head to the movies to see “A Question of Faith” this Sat., Sept. 30th at 11:30 a.m.. You really don’t want to miss this film featuring a star studded line-up! Get your tickets today!

BLESSINGS AND LOVE MARRIAGE MINISTRY (BALM): SAVE THE DATE and join the BALM Ministry for the “Talk to Me, Don’t Text me” workshop Thurs., Sept. 28th at 7 p.m. with Rev. Jay & Rev. Melanie Gamble. Open to all married, engaged and dating couples.

GO GET OUR DAUGHTERS MINISTRY: Young women (ages 10-18), join the Go Get Our Daughters Activity Sat., Sept. 30th at  9 a.m. for their “Focused” activity as they tackle the subject of human trafficking. Every year in the US, thousands of human trafficking cases are reported and at least 50% of the victims are under 16. We want to educate our young women so they recognize red flags and prevent becoming a victim! Parents are invited to participate in the Q&A session.

PARENT RESOURCE MEGA FAIR: Ebenezer will host a Parent Resource MEGA Fair Sat., Oct. 7th at 10 a.m. This event is intended for families of school age children (3 to college age). This MEGA will provide information to help your child’s academic and social emotional growth to ensure a more successful school year.  The MEGA Fair is available to the church and community at large.

YOUTH AND MILLENNIAL BUSINESS SUMMIT: The Christian Business Ministry is calling on youth and young adult entrepreneurs or those interested in becoming and entrepreneur (ages 10-25) to register for the 2017 Youth and Millennial Business Summit featuring celebrity guest speaker DJ Beauty and the Beatz on Sat., Oct. 14th from 10 am-1 pm. Registration is $5 per adult and FREE for youth under 18. Register and purchase tickets today on www.eventbrite.com (search CBM Youth Summit).

MOBILE HOMELESS VAN MINISTRY: Church, if you have fall and winter shirts/tops/sweaters, jeans/sweatpants, coats/jackets, boots, hats, scarves, and toiletries (travel size toothpaste), please donate to the homeless men, women, and children. Drop off boxes are marked MHVM (located near the Security Desk) beginning Oct. 1st – 31st. Ensure clothing donations are clean with no holes.

3RD ANNUAL COMMUNITY PRAYER BREAKFAST: Tony Knotts’ 3rd Annual Community Prayer Breakfast will be Sat., Oct. 7th at 7 a.m. at the Camelot by Martin’s with Guest Speaker,  Rev. Dr. Jamal Harrison Bryant. Get your tickets.
